ItsJustMe Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the ItsJustMe app ("ItsJustMe", "the app"), operated by Rando Udris, trading as RandomUnit ("we", "us"), Lääne 3, 50605 Tartu, Estonia, email randomunitsupport@gmail.com. By creating an account or using the app you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. The service

ItsJustMe is a personal-timeline app with a messenger and a voice assistant, where you record your memories, beliefs, goals, skills and relationships and explore them as a neuron map. The app is under active development, so features may change, be added or be removed.

2. Age

ItsJustMe is meant to be suitable for all ages. Children under 13 should only use it together with, and with the permission of, a parent or guardian. This matches our Privacy Policy.

3. Your account

You can sign up with email and password, or with Google. Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. We recommend turning on two-factor authentication.
Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
If you sign in with Google, Google's own terms also apply to that part of the service.

4. Your content

You own the content you add. You give us a limited licence to store, process and display it solely to provide the service to you. We do not claim ownership of your content, do not sell it and do not use it to train AI models. You are responsible for what you add, including information about other people, so only record what you have a right to record.

5. Messenger and shared content

Chats, group chats and entries you propose onto a friend's timeline are user content. You must not use them for harassment, illegal content, impersonation or spam. You can block other users. You can report abuse to randomunitsupport@gmail.com, and we may remove content or suspend accounts that break these terms.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Break the law or infringe the rights of others.
Upload malicious code or try to disrupt, overload or reverse engineer the service.
Access accounts or data that are not yours, or bypass security measures.
Use automated means to scrape or abuse the service.

7. Voice assistant

The voice assistant uses Google speech recognition, so your audio may be processed by Google under Google's terms. Results may be inaccurate. Review each draft entry carefully, since nothing is saved until you confirm it.

8. Our rights

The app, its design, mascot, code and branding belong to us and are protected by intellectual property laws. These terms give you only a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app.

9. Availability and backups

We aim to keep the app running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, outages or technical problems may occur. Please keep your own copies of anything important.

10. Account deletion and termination

You can delete your account at any time inside the app or by email; see Data deletion. Messages you sent in group chats are not removed when you delete your account and remain visible to other group members. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or put the service or other users at risk, and we may discontinue the service with reasonable notice where possible.

11. Disclaimer

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. ItsJustMe is a personal organization tool and is not medical, psychological or professional advice.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The current version, with its date, is always on this page, and we will notify users of significant changes. Changes take effect when published, and if you keep using the app afterwards you accept them.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia. Disputes are subject to the courts of Estonia, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections you have in your country of residence.
